Beef Tagliata with White Truffle Oil

  • 2 thick beef steaks
  • 150 g of rocket
  • Few parmesan slices
  • 2 spoon of pine nut
  • Olive oil
  • White or black truffle oil
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • fleur de sel
  • Pepper
  • 1 garlic glove


1- Rub the beef steak with the clove of garlic.

2- Prepare the rocket by washing it well.

3- Prepare the dressing with the balsamic vinegar ( 2 tablespoons), the olive oil (1 teaspoon), fleur de sel and pepper.

4- Warm an anti-adhesive frying pan with some olive oil.  Add the meat and heat each side for 1 min.

5- Slice the meat in thin piece. Put back the slices in the hot frying pan.

6- Cook the slices according to the tastes (Medium rare, well-done,…). The ideal would be a rare or medium rare meat.

7- In plates, place the rocket with pine nuts, and dressing according to the tastes and the slices of Parmesan cheese.

8- Then place the meat on top of the salad. Sprinkle the fleur de sel. Add some drops of truffle oil.
